Mental Health of Student in Higher Education

Today's higher education landscape serves not only as a center for knowledge exchange but also as a crucial platform that shapes students' mental and physical health, social connections, and life skills. Students face various psychological challenges due to factors such as competition, evaluation, technological dominance, and fear of the future. In this context, this book clearly emphasizes the necessity of considering well-being not as a secondary aspect of education, but as its fundamental pillar. This book, "Mental Health of students in Higher Education," focuses on the holistic development of students and adopts an integrated approach to mental health, physical and cognitive well-being, academic stress, time management, emotional and social well-being, digital well-being, social media use, resilience, coping strategies, counseling practices, campus support systems, and a culture of well-being in higher education institutions. The unique feature of this book is its combination of theoretical explanations with practical guidance. It serves as a training guide, helping students identify their psychological strengths and develop skills to cope with stress. At the same time, it points out the methods by which teachers and educational administrators can understand and fulfill their responsibility to protect the well-being of students.
